    Thanks for the poll suggestion; they have been rather thin of late. Unfortunately, this one is rather close to At my main job I mostly occupy my..., but then it took me a while to find it even when I knew it was there and it certainly has been a while since it was posted. So it might be worth posting this one now.

    It unfortunately seems that most of the pollsters have also run out of steam as far as actually putting up polls. If you (yes, you, the one reading this right now; stop looking over your shoulder as it makes you look paranoid) would like to earn the awesome power of posting new polls at PerlMonks (not just poll suggestions), then come up with some good poll ideas, put some polish on them (believe it or not, many of our polls actually involved research), and post them in this thread. If they tickle the gods, you could easily win a "Member of:" item for your homenode.

      Depending on the turn-over rate in the Monastery, or the average human memory, you might well be able to start recycling polls from 4 or 5 years ago...
