There is a bug in the code:
@EXPORT_OK = qw(is_valid_cheksum); ^^^^^^^

[Discipulus]: ovedpo15 A subroutine may be called using an explicit & prefix. The & is optional in modern Perl... see perlsub in docs and search for ampersand
