Except that I believe, as best I can from his poorly worded and uninformative question, that he is asking how to configure apache to serve PHP pages

    Yeah. I think you're right, and romandas. I personally like a little OT here and I tend to give Seekers of Perl Wisdom the benefit of the doubt just in case there is a Perl angle, if only on a tangent.

      I suppose I came across a bit harsh, which was not my intent. My idea of 'treating something as offtopic' just referred to asking the author to clarify how the question related to Perl and leaving it at that. Different folks, different strokes and all that..
