To the tune of the infamous "Goldfinger", original words by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley, music by John Barry, sung by the very tallented Ms. Shirley Bassey.

Note: one must perform the obligatory "Ba WAA Waaaa" where appropriate.

Does it belong in Perl Poetry? I'd hate to code this sucker! But I am wont for another abode w/i the monastary, perhaps due to Canadian beer.

Without further ado, NodeReaper!

NodeReaper
He's the man, the man with the deathly touch.
A spider's touch,

Such a cold reaper.

Newby monk
He'll grin when your bones he's picked
So please, 'use strict'

Plague-like words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can't disguise what you fear,
For a perly girl knows when he's kissed her,
It's the kiss of death from

Mister NodeReaper.
He'll get you with his metal scythe
So please, use 'my'!

Every day, he takes off his nodes to die,
then tosses in a cherry pie!
Within the monastary
He is the keeper,

Mister NodeReaper
He'll cut you with his sharpened blade
Those nodes you made!

He loves only nodes.
Only nodes.
He loves nodes.
He loves only nodes.
Only nodes.
He loves nodes.

THX to stephen and tinman and all on the chatterbox this afternoon for their lyrical genius!

UPDATE:japhy pointed out maybe it should be 'ba WAAAAA waa'.

More UPDATES: due to significant constructive criticism, and my inadequacies, I redid some of the lyrics to better reflect the intentions of the participants. My sincerest and most humble 'Sorry!' if anyone is artistically or metaphysically offended!

Wow. This was the tune I thought in my head when I saw the name of the node. How scary. (I too was placing the "ba WAAAAA waa"s in my head.)
