CColin has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi, Am trying to install this module but cpan keeps hanging at the following test status: t/10_2_shared_start.t 1/3 I've googled and found the same problem listed elsewhere but no comment on the possible problem and remedy. Any ideas?

    you can always avoid running the test suite
