After 6 months of development work, following 2 years worth of design and preparation, CPAN Testers 2.0 is finally live.

From the early days of handwritten reports, through the large scale mailing list submission system, we are now pleased to be able to announce that the system to accept HTTP submissions is now live.

From testing and report creation, through HTTP submission and storage in the Metabase, and finally to the cpanstats database and the CPAN Testers family of websites, the process is now complete and live.

We now have a deadline on 31st August 2010, to move all testers across to the new system, so expect some howtos and the like to appear shortly, to help with any setup and upgrades needed.

To read the fuller account of the announcement, please visit the CPAN Testers Blog or download the Press Release.

On behalf of David Golden and myself, thank you to everyone involved in helping us to finally make CPAN Testers 2.0 a live reality.
