I wish that you would please

Listen to me.

So I can tell you that

The barbecue sauce is esoteric and mystical

Which is why you have to

Muddle through your own way.

but you can learn from us through the use of the ancient art of

Monkey see, monkey do.

I really don't mean to be facetious but there's a reason our answers are all the same: if this could be elegantly solved by engineering, it would already have been done. If you disagree, well, good luck and please share the holy grail when you find it.

Sorry; I disagree. I realize that some people believe engineering is, or should be, an art, not a technique. But I disagree. Technique is not a mechanical procedure but it is something that can be written down; one might almost say that craft passes into technique when it passes from oral tradition to published prose and drawings.

I dislike mysticism on nearly every level; I spend much of my time (when not writing Perl) exposing the Man Behind the Curtain, opening the Mechanical Turk's cabinet. If you have an investment in the shroud, I cannot help but offend by asking you to tear it aside. Please accept my apologies and consider the request withdrawn.

We don't need the conch anymore. We know who ought to say things.... It's time some people knew they've got to keep quiet and leave deciding things to the rest of us.
