CPAN Module or API for key logger

I want to write a key logger, is there an API or Module available on CPAN, that i can use?

    It depends on whose keystrokes you want to log. On linux, you need to patch the kernel to do effective keylogging, a perl module will not do it. See lkl for a userspace only solution. But there are ways around loggers, see Tk Virtual Keyboard
