    You tested it on your system, you have no idea what the implications of a force install of these modules will do to the OPs system
      I can't agree with you on that. I've got a pretty good idea of what it'll do. Again, what have you tried? Give us all the benefit of your experience, please.
        You can't agree, because you don't know what you're doing. You've just installed modules into the system perl. Bad idea. For all you know there are specific module versions in use. OSX uses the system perl. Don't mess around with it, you could bitch your OSX install. Telling people to blindly force installs is stupid. Period.
        The op has --local-lib=/Users/kahmed/.cpan/build, maybe that means install into that directory? Probably what the other Anonymous is talking about
