I believe "Star" is a version, and that they'll be using numbers eventually.

Actually "Star" is the name of a distribution (just like "activestate" or "strawberry"). The version is a month name, and will stay that way. Perl 6 - second systems done right	[reply]

No need to use the future tense. It's there, and it does bundle a compiler, libraries, docs and development tools.. Perl 6 - second systems done right	[reply]
