I downvote you on this one. I fail to see what useful contribution this post makes. You could have (as I did) just /msg tachyon. If he feels like it, he will correct the spelling mistake. Remember that this is an international site, and English is not the native language for any number of participants. This applies equally to Australians too, of course :-). (Speaking as an Aussie ex-pat, FWIW).

    The reasons I posted, and I do realize it may be ... inappropriate, are:

    1. My chatterbox client is down for some reason (which is why I'm posting this, too). I can't tell when someone will respond if they're not around.
    2. Somehow I feel, being new here, that /msg'ing someone is a bit like walking up to someone I've never met and whose work I admire on the street and telling them their shirt is of a lousy color.
    3. It's easier for me to format the comment so that I feel it's as non-offensive as I can, since that wasn't the goal.
    4. I know he can change it, and I couldn't. He can probably reap my comment, can't he?

    English is not my native either, it just somehow caught my eye (still does),
