Under "Format Specifiers" I see "printf(*quot;%+d", 7);" -- it looks like that leading asterisk "*" should be an ampersand "&" so that the double quote character will be displayed instead of "*quot;"

should be:

printf("%+d", 7);        # prints '+7'
