taint's scratchpad

This is an attempt to accomplish 2 different things:

1.) Primarily; create a Tutorial that instructs would-be CPAN users how to create, not your typical Module, but how to create, and publish Perl scripts on CPAN.

2.) Use this "Scratchpad" thingy correctly.

While there are already several tutorials on the creation of Modules for CPAN. I have found precious little with regard to the creation, and publishing of Perl scripts to/on CPAN. In fact, I wasn't even able to find any information in PAUSE, or the PAUSE tutorial/documentation itself.

Well. Several Module authors have written, and uploaded their scripts to CPAN. Few of them are officially published. While a few authors have created Modules/Scripts to more easily accomplish the task of creating, registering a script on CPAN. I could only find 2, that were even close to finished. I looked closely at one, with the intention of completing it for him. But the farther I got into it, the more I felt I could do better job -- well, at least a different job. Because TMTOWTDI :)

So why not just create your version, and point would-be script authors to that, instead of writing a tutorial?

Good question. But as I just noted; TMTOWTDI.

So. Before I embark on this would-be CPAN-script-author tutorial. I'd like to see if Monks, and the like, would even be interested in my creating this for the Tutorials section at the Monastery.

Please let me know.
