#perl6 summaries

by raiph (Chaplain)
on Aug 19, 2012 at 07:30 UTC ( #988296=perlnews: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

Remember, back in the day, when Piers Cawley did regular summaries of the discussion on Perl 6 mailing lists?

Perl 6 discussion is now almost all on the freenode IRC channel #perl6. Lots is going on. A weekly highlights summary might be useful, at least to current sixians, and perhaps beyond.

So, I've just done #perl6 highlights; week ending 2012-08-18 as a starter. I plan to keep doing this weekly for a while.

(Edit: simplified title)

Switched to daily summaries with a radically changed format. See 2012-09-02.

This is nice. Also can you give a percentage progress of how much of rakudo matches the spec as it exists today.
Correct, features going in per week would help. Compared to number of features left to implement.
As per that page out of 136 features, only 25 are left to implement. So approximately only 19% percent is left to implement right?
