Hi all,

I'm following the Plat_Forms ( contest for the last years as interested programmer without any ambition to participate. I had the luck to get known to a member of one of the ruby teams 2011 (Makandra).

Now I've seen that there is exactly one Perl team announced. Does anybody know who's going there to represent Perl?

In any case, I hope that this time Perl as a platform will compete a little better than last year. It would be nice to see that the new web frameworks boosting the productivity of the development team.

Opinions and discussions appreciated.

Best regards

P.S.: I really admire all guys participating at this contest under high pressure. I'm sure I would waste at least some hours setting up my workplace with coffee machine, discussing whether the requirements given are meaningful requirements and afterwards finding out that it is time for lunch. ;-)

    Hi all,

just read that the Perl Foundation had to cancel participation:

That's a pitty. I was so curious whether a Perl team could do a better job than last year.

    Best regards

I wonder why they "had" to. And the web site is mum on the entire subject.

    Hi all,

I really have to ask a second time: Does anybody know which programmers are sent by the Perl Foundation to the Plat_Forms contest?

    Best regards

Have you tried asking The Perl Foundation directly?

      Not everybody reads

        Not yet... ;-)
