can perl-data-dumper-concise replace data-dumper!?
Data::Dumper::Concise is Data:Dumper in disguise with a few option set differently from the standard.
From the docs:
It exists, fundamentally, as a convenient way to reproduce a set of Dumper options that we've found ourselves using across large numbers of applications, primarily for debugging output.
If you are looking for alternatives for Data:Dumper
, have a look at Data:Dump
. Personally I like its output more than Data:Dumper.
A program should be light and agile, its subroutines connected like a string of pearls. The spirit and intent of the program should be retained throughout. There should be neither too little or too much, neither needless loops nor useless variables, neither lack of structure nor overwhelming rigidity." - The Tao of Programming, 4.1 - Geoffrey James
