My guess is that we're being lamely DoS'd by some lamer who, among other lamenesses, is only hitting perlmonks.org and www.perlmonks.org. And the attack is so lame that it only really has a noticeable effect when one attempts to view a very large thread. I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.	[reply]
