The "only" information they have is valuable to the one who was so kind to take his time helping me. I disagree. They often also indicate which of many replies the OP found most useful/helpful/correct. Which is often just as perl related as the questions. Do you feel disturbed by these "Thank-you-nodes"? No. I'm happy to see them, for others replies; happy to receive them for my own replies; and happy to post them for good replies to my own questions.
