Maybe it was one of those things that was so bad, it was good?

It may have had $rep >= 0 when it was frontpaged, of course.

Still, two people were involved to both Approve it and Frontpage it, and anyone with the ability to do these things can easily find out who these individuals are, perhaps questions like this could be directed there.
