So errm I don't think it's such a great idea,
or most of the counter proposals either
(such as parent vs. children). Just because
it's a computer and will blindly accept your
instructions and calculate all sorts of wacky
statistics doesn't really mean they'll be
useful. And I had for sometime considered a
display of ++/Total votes, and more or less
thought it was a good idea (but not good
enough to propose, no convincing arguments).
But not until I saw this thread did I realize
really how a generally futile/needless thing
it is. Helas words fail me for a convincing
argument for this as well.
