Er, what exactly is that supposed to prove? That mod-perl is faster then C? I would hope so. We all know that non-mod-perl perl (wee, dept redundancy dept calling) is slow, this is an accepted fact. The point is that no one uses it for anything speed critical. They use fast things!

tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be

have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
