Some of the most used tools in my environment include:
- ssh, scp
- perl -e (-i, -p, -n, -l, -a as needed.)
- perl -d
- man, perldoc
- RCS and CVS
Of course, I also regularly use other tools at my disposal like cat, echo, grep, head, tail, less, xargs, gzip, tar, find, make, wget, nc, tee, locate, w, sudo, gcc, rsync, lsof, ping, traceroute, netstat, strings, diff, cmp, sort, uniq and many many many
