Phydeaux came originally as a alternative username for me to use when I worked for an ISP years ago and management insisted that we use aliases when we wanted to do 'personal things' on the Internet so that customers would not attribute what we said or did as an act of the company.
The name is actually a tribute to Larry Norman, one of my favorite artists
the arf part came years later when I found that so many were using Phydeaux as their moniker.
