So, I can identify with the common claims: "paper books are tangible"
In my experience the vast majority of them become outdated within a few months anyways. Why pay $60 for a technical book when you can read it online for $2?
Also a great feature of safari is the fact that it has more than just o'reilly books. They even have the prentice hall "learn to be a PHB in 10 minutes" type books! Now I'm just waiting for the Wiley books.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
