Getting back offtopic - growing up in Europe or some place like New York, and then moving to some less densely populated place (not going off-grid, just moving to some smaller version of newyork...) could do the trick.
Notice like few posts above someone mentions that living 30m
away from center is unbearable - it usually takes 30-45m to drive through city. So moving to Toronto, living on 100acres and driving only 30m to the city may sound like a dream come true.
