For those of you with access to the approval nodelet and the nodes to consider page there have been a few recent additions. When adding a node to consider you can add a short reason describing the problem. This will allow the person taking action on it to have a better idea of what the problem is.
Also for voting on the nodes to consider page you are now limited to one vote per node. If a node reaches 5 votes for deletion, has less than 2 "keep" votes, has a negative reputation and no replies below it is automatically deleted. If it doesn't meet all of those criteria I receive a message notifying me of the problem node.
Lemme know what you think about the scheme. There will probably be more changes/improvements? to the system in the near future.
