To throw in my two cents. I've been using Eclipse w/ EPIC for over a year now. For my project work, it works best for me. Allows me to switch between any number of files in the project. I've also installed the Clearcase plugin and the SQL explorer plugin.
I still use gvim for non-project/one off things. But the moment it will be used more than once, over to Eclipse I go.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
