The pod2it team (Italian translation project of core Perl pods) is proud to announce a new POD2::IT release available on
CPAN.
This release includes 8 new translated pods.
We have now 40 translated pods including most important like perlfunc.pod and all perlfaq*.pod.

Note: Perl 5.10 allows you to use perldoc's -L switch that allows to define language code for desired language translation:
%> perldoc -L IT <podname>
%> perldoc -L IT -f <function>
%> perldoc -L IT -q <FAQregex>

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
