Closely tied to the article I posted yesterday Polly wants some Numerical Computation. Must be the phase of the moon.

Write a book teaching numerical calculation using PDL & Statistics::R, and O'Reilly will publish it. You might even get $5/hr for the work you put into it.

Get the feel right, and it might get used as a textbook, so some people actually read it.

As Occam said: Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem.

  • Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
  • Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
  • Please read these before you post! —
