... because I can have a working solution in Perl in one tenth the development time, using one tenth the lines of code than in (C/C++/Java/Clean/Pure/...). And if it runs too slowly, I have the other 90% of the time to speed up the slow bits. With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday'
