YAPC::NA 2013 (Austin, TX June 3-5) Update

We have 156 registered for the conference so far. To see who is planning to go, use the Search YAPC::NA 2013 Users link.

We've switched on ticket purchasing. Conference tickets are $100, or $80 for early birds (purchase by May 1st).

Please submit talks by March 15th. For more info see our recent blog post about submitting talks.

We've received payment from seven sponsors so far and have begun thanking them on the website and elsewhere. cPanel, based in Houston, Texas, have donated $10k in cash and lots more in ongoing support across the board. Thank you cPanel! (Their job site.)

Update to update: We've announced keynotes . We’ve got a great line up of Master Class Training for YAPC this year. Trainers include, Gabor Szabo, Michael Schwern, John “genehack” Anderson, Dave Rolsky, and Stevan Little. There will be classes given both before and after YAPC. 7th through 12th in our 2013 Ideas Collector (please, only vote if you are going) are: Perl-NG Hackathon BOF: Test::Builder 1.5 fix-a-thon Game Night Promoting Perl Silent auction Comparison of Web Frameworks 185 have registered. Would you consider showing the cost of conference itself in plain sight, not hidden behind wall of cookies? (Well, after clicking the "purchase" or "register" link, all I get is log in screen or email address entry form with no cost listed.)	[reply]

I filed a ticket. (Should be publicly visible.) I think it'll be addressed early next week if not this weekend. Thank you for your feedback, greatly appreciated. More feedback from anyone and everyone will also be appreciated, especially about stuff that needs to be fixed, or is confusing, or leaves folk less interested in going. Long critiques welcome. The more the merrier. :) Can't promise to do any particular thing but I will raise tickets as appropriate.	[reply]
