I'd use
myself. I seriously dislike having to write code likeuse strict; use warnings; no warnings 'uninitialized';
if (defined $foo and $foo) { ...
Update on Jun 05, 2003: I do not remember the last time I got a "Variable is used once" warning. Maybe I was just lucky :-)
