strredwolf has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Question -- is it safe to use Parallel::ForkManager with system? I want to fire off x-amount of one program and track it (similar to what make -j4 does with gcc).
This is on a Linux and a FreeBSD system, so Windows fork emulation is a non-issue.
