sorry, to say it, but you missed probably the point. All your categories include the word "knowledge".

As for me, what really counts, is the ability a) to use knowledge and more important b) to acquire knowledge as necessary.

Another point of my critics is, that in general the so called practioneers use ideas thet were purely academical 20 years before. Personally, I can remember times when "object-orientation" was something purely academical which some real-world agnostic adepts of CLOS and Smalltalt used for brain damaged activities.
