Every so often someone is nice enough to vote for one of my posts, and then sometimes I get XP for it. Then the next time I refresh or login or whatever I get a nice little message telling me that I have gained XP and how much I need to reach the next level. Occasionally I get this message when I vote for someone else, and sometimes I vote for more then one post at a time. But I'm not an XP junkie, so I don't know how much XP I had before. This almost always leaves me pondering how much XP I have gained. So Pinky, I was wondering if that message could be a little more informative and include the delta.

Experience is just a click away

You can also very easy find your current experience by clicking on your login name (in your case, Adam) - there you find your current XP status among other things. But I guess that visiting your personal node once a login to review your current XP status is enough :-).

Your best bet would be to read the FAQ

Then keep up with your XP if you are really interested.

Hmm, Yeah I've read that too. But that doesn't answer his question, so you vote or post and it says You gained experience!, you have 211 points until level 6 or whatever it says, can't exactly recall. Ok, so you just voted for three nodes, how much experience did you gain. Or you just logged in and people have voted on your stuff, it's affected yor level - how much by.

What he's asking for is something along the lines of You gained experiecne (2 xp)!, you have 211 points until level 6

FWIW: I agree, I'd like to see this added and it probably wouldn't take much to add.

Baldrick, you wouldn't see a subtle plan if it painted itself purple and danced naked on top of a harpsichord, singing "Subtle plans are here again!"
