Just for recreational curiosity. Data fetched from BigMonkMap and PerlMonks, as of 7/16/2003. Only monks on the Map were included, so it's a self-selected sample, not a good random sampling. Not sure if the statistics already available somewhere but here they are anyway.
- Region A: longitude180W - 30W, i.e. Americas, etc.
- Region B: longitude 30W - 60E, i.e. Europe, Africa, Middle East, etc.
- Region C: longitude 60E - 180E, i.e. Asia, Oceania, etc.
