gridlock has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I've had plenty of luck with Net::SMTP_Auth to connect to an SMTP server for the purpose of sending mail - - - however, I've now come up to a situation where I'm having to do the same with a Microsoft Outlook Mail Server. I can't quite figure out if Net::SMTP_Auth will do the job for me, or if I need to find some other means....

Has anyone had any similar experiences in similar situations? If so, how do you deal with it?

Thanks in advance!

I just saw this yesterday on newoin.net under their software section. It is supposed to let you access your Hotmail from Eudora, Outlook, etc. According to the description, tt looks like you should be able to write something using Net::SMTP do what you want to do.

    Hope that helps!

Update: Upon further reading, I've found out that it will only let you process the first 100 messages and after that you have to pay $17.50 for the program.

There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling now.
