Maybe it's out there in the docs, and -by Murphy's law- possibly even in an evident location. But I just can't find it: it occurs to me that there are discrepancies in the indication of the number of replies to a given node when it appears in the section it belongs to and and in the frontpage respectively. Any clue?

      Well, for example in this moment I see as the first post in The Monastery Gates this article: DBI and PP not behaving..., from Seekers of Perl Wisdom and I see the indication "4 replies" and "3 replies" in the respective "locations".

      UPDATE: I'm not offended, but most definitely I'm puzzled to see posts like this getting downvoted, especially I can't see why, taking into account that I'm answering to a specific cmt. A reply/explanation would have been welcome...

    Check your user settings. Most likely some of the replies are below your chosen depth.

      I don't think so, for it's 1000. Also, I was referring to the indication in the header: I find it -quite often- to differ when I see the node in the section it belongs to and in the Monastry Gates respectively, assuming it has been frontpaged, of course...
