You misunderstand the purpose of this site. It is NOT a free help site *(sorry, didn't mean to shout there), it is a place for Learning How to use Perl. Nobody here is at all obligated to take even two minutes of their time to solve your problems, nor should they without some compensation. People who want help will find it will always be given generously here, and indeed, this thread shows a great deal of generousity towards you. But you have to want to try to understand what's going on, not just get some quick fix you can plug into your code.
I suggest again that you will find folks more helpful if you adjust your expectations and understanding of what this site is about, and if you stop taking out your frustrations, caused by a mistake of yours, on the kind Monks. This is, again, not a "free help forum"-- you do have to pay in effort, honest attempts to understand and to wrestle with what you don't understand, and common courtesy.
