No documentation found for "perllocal"?

Hi monks,

I use debian linux apt-get to install the modulus for me and I can call them sucessfully, however, once I use the perldoc perllocal to check the modulus installed, I failed. Does perldoc perllocal only work for modulus installed from CPAN? If so, how can I check all the modulus available by command or perl code?

Yes. (Or at least it isn't supported by the debian packaged perl modules.)

Why do you want to? There may be better ways to do whatever you are actually trying to achieve. The CPAN shell's autobundle command is one way, but it includes core and dual-lived modules which you may not want.

It's not the cleanest way, but it gives an outline which modules are installed and how the perl setup is well-kept:

perl -le 'print `ls -lR $_` for @INC'
