This is one of my personal gripes :) A lot can be learnt from a wrong response and an update as to what was wrong and why should be all that is needed. I don't see another way to discourage this kind of behaviour so I tend to just vote to "keep" them, though if I am feeling particularly grumpy I might down vote as well -especially if the content has been removed :)
