    looks good.

    how about making the search results stand out a little better? perhaps a heading that says "Search Results" or a horizontal rule would help.

    also, searching for post by a non-existent author doesn't fail, but instead returns many (100?) seemingly random nodes by various monks. this seems like a bug to me.

    Are there potential concerns about increased server load, vroom?

    If so, it might help if defaults were date-constrained to, say, the past 6 months and limited to SOPW, notes, and Q's & A's.   Something like that could reduce the number of unecessary "wide-open" searches.

    Trade-off would be a few extra clicks for monks searching along different directions.
