fanticla has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear Monks,

I am searching for a solution to my problem. I need to lemmatize words (is->be, cells->cell, did->do). Unfortunately I did not find any module (the most similar is Lingua::Stem). Anyone have some experience in this field and can me advise which approach I should use? I even searched outside the Perl world for an easy to use tool.... but without success.

Any idea will be appreciated.

Here is an idea. Not sure how good of one but it's what I'd try first if this were my problem: Lingua::Wordnet.
