Well, I love this place. I'm a chef-turned-network-engineer. Recently, I took a contract where some Perl skills are helpful. So, a few books later, and MANY a visit here, I'm crawling along. This is fun stuff!

So, why the nick, Tuna, you ask?
Kinda funny, but one day, while skiing with my dear friend Theresa, we were cruising along a catwalk, just chatting, taking it all in. Now, mind you, we are both expert skiers. Anyway, before I knew it, I must have crossed my tips, and wound up caught in the netting; which happened to be the only thing the kept me from plunging over a cliff to my certain death. Well, there I was, all 6'3, 200lbs. of me, totally helpless, skis, poles going in all sorts of unnatural directions. As soon as Theresa realized that I was fine, merely stuck, she burst out laughing. Finally, some guy came along, and helped me out of my predicament. From then on, Theresa has called me Tuna. And, if she ever meets you, she will HAPPILY, without provocation, repeat this very tale to you.
