Well, I'm back from Viet Nam and back to work, study and thesis. I work at Pacific Solar - we make and sell solar modules (and do lots of R&D). I'm currently in my last year of electrical engineering at UNSW. My thesis is based around designing a new control system for one of the lasers we use in the production process at work.
The only perl related news I have is that I'm working on a basic interpreter written in perl and using Parse::RecDescent. I haven't posted the code on perlmonks yet because I'm don't know if this is the appropriate forum for module reviews or not. (BTW - I know there is a basic parser on CPAN already - I'm writing my own so I can learn how.) If you're interested or want to see the code, then feel free to mail me.
