I like footpad's idea, but I would also like a simplistic gauge of if the site is in the red or not. How much does it cost to keep PM running? Is the donation plate helping? Do I need to start donating more frequently? I would hate to see the monastery close due to lack of funding.

I definitely like the red/black indicator idea. It would provide a nice, simple indicator of the "health" of the site. I'm worried that if a dollar amount gets attached to the site, it's nature might change, quite possibly for the worse. (Money is the root of greed and many other evils).	[reply]
