Tcl Error

by Anonymous Monk
on Dec 17, 2012 at 16:28 UTC ( #1009199=perlquestion: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am running a pretty lengthy and complex script. I am recieving an error.

Perl sub bound to Tcl proc returned -2 args, expected 1
I know it's good practice to post the code, however, it's way too long and parts are proprietary. I thought I had an idea of the source of the error and tried to write a simple script that would give the same error but it is not. If I could get a little insight into what the error means, I may get a better idea. Thanks.

    "...returned -2 args, expected 1"

    ...just take it verbose ;-)

Can't you provide a simplified version for dummies? Perhaps someone can help then.

Update: Please imagine a post like this: "I've written a tricky app > 10.000 lines of code. I'm getting a weird error... due to NDA i can't provide any details. Please can you give a hint?"

    Regards, Karl
