I'm an Aussie bloke living away from the sun in Holland, i've been living her for about three years now.

I really like perl, its just so easy to use. I'd have to say my fav perl stuff is the combo of DBI, CGI, CGI::Application and HTML::Template. I love my databases, and building web sites, and with this combination of modules, you can do anything..

I have a keen interest in motorbikes, having owned (in order):

1. a 1981 RD 250LC
2. a 1989 GPx 250
3. a 1993 ZZr 600
4. a 1992 ZZr 1000
5. a 1999 CBR 1100xx (blue with polished wheels)
6. a 1999 GSX1300R Hayabusa

Back in Australia i used to wash my bikes every other weekend. In the Netherlands things are a little different. The house i live in has no garden taps, hence no hose. While its not impossible, its a PITA. Then there's the cold. HFSA! who the hell wants to sit on the ground freezing while washing? not me.

Even tho' it is quite cold at this time of the year (its around 1-2 degrees in the mornings), i'm still riding the bike to work. Altho' its not _that_ bad, I wouldnt like to do more than about a 1/2 hour trip.

Ik kan nou een beitje nederlands praten, maar, mijn gramatica is heeeeeel slecht hoor.. :-) elke dinsdag wij (twee andere mensen) hebben curses bij ons werk. Nederlands is de eerste andere taal ik heb geleerd en ik vind 't leuk om te leren, maar nederlands is heeeeeel moelijk voor mij omdat de gramatica is zo echt anders van Engels.
