Apparently a few people have been wondering what kind of monk winds up with xp like mine. So....

I am the user responsible for replicating content to the search-engine-friendly archive detailed at Making perlmonks seach engine friendly. To ensure an uncluttered look for the archive, I have all my nodelets turned off, which is why blakem needed a separate user for this task. Unfortunately, the checkboxes used for rep-voting (the ones that look like: ++ -- ) can't be turned off from user settings.

So, once I became a novice (you get minor xp points just for logging in) those little checkboxes started cluttering up the archive. blakem had to put me into my place to prevent those checkboxes from showing up. He caused me to repeatedly trip over a newly installed votebot deterrent (-5 xp for casting unsigned ballots) and lose all my hard earned xp and then some.... (you have no idea what it's like to see "Aack! You've lost 550 xp!") early on a monday morning....)

And, yes, I am aware of the invisible monk trick but haven't been able to get it working consistantly.....

Now, for those of you who are really curious, I've put up a demo button... BEWARE THIS BUTTON WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOSE XP!!! Don't push it if losing 5 XP will upset you...
