The important thing is to just keep reading. Occasionally you'll come across something really amazing, and sometimes you'll find one that is a total disappointment. Along the way you'll pick up a lot of knowledge (or at least book-smarts).

I used to keep up a list on my home node. It's still there, and probably worth checking, but the list is really out of date; there dozens if not scores missing.
